My Journey - a Glimpse

From a young age, I felt it — the energy flowing through my hands. What started as an intuitive gift grew into a lifelong path of healing, awareness, and inner strength.
Reiki found me during a deeply transformative time and became my anchor, my breathing space, my lifeline.
I immersed myself in Reiki, chakra healing, and holistic coaching — not only to heal myself but to guide others back to rest, balance, and connection.
The Reiki Road is my path — and my purpose.

My Journey

Welcome to my story — a journey of healing, growth, and connection through Reiki.

From a young age, I felt it: the power flowing from my hands. As a child, I would place my hands on a sore belly or aching knee — my own or someone else's — and the pain would soften, sometimes even disappear completely. I deeply believed in that power, long before I knew what Reiki even was. People around me would often say:
“Marinda has healing hands.”
It wasn’t until years later that Reiki truly came into my life. At a time when I was searching for something to hold onto — for light, support, and hope — Reiki offered me exactly that.
During an intense and emotional journey toward motherhood, Reiki became my anchor. It gave me glimmers of light in the darkest moments, the strength to carry on, and hope for a positive outcome — instead of being stuck in fear and despair.

My Reiki journey began at the Nederlof Center, where I completed Reiki Shoden (Level 1) and later Reiki Okuden (Level 2). Around that same time, I also followed the Shin-Do course — a path focused on strengthening your Ki, your inner power. This deepening affirmed what I had always intuitively known:
That you can only stand strong in life when you yourself are in balance. From power, not from tension.
When you're grounded in your own energy, you can face whatever comes your way with more calm, clarity, and resilience.

Alongside Reiki, I also trained as a Holistic Coach at the Academy for Holistic Coaching. This gave me deep insights into the interplay of body, mind, and soul — and how to lovingly support others in rediscovering their balance.

I continued my path with the two-year Reiki Practitioner training at the Nederlof Center, further explored chakra healing, and eventually completed the Reiki Master level: Reiki Shinpiden.
The day I was initiated as a Reiki Master Teacher, I felt the universal life energy flow through me more powerfully than ever before. It was as if everything clicked into place.

Since then, I’ve been a member of the Reiki Healing Association — an international organization for certified practitioners.
The Reiki I practice and share is rooted in the original tradition of Mikao Usui — pure, powerful, and connected to Source.
I am the 9th Master in a direct lineage following the founders Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, and Hawayo Takata — a lineage I carry forward with reverence and dedication.

It turned out my hands weren’t just “healing” by chance — it is Reiki that flows through me. A gift. A responsibility. An honour.
And that is exactly what I want to share with others:
Rest. Reset. Reconnect.

Life offers us lessons — some gentle, others raw. But always for a reason.
I believe life keeps inviting us to grow, until we truly listen. Until we dare to feel. To heal.

The Reiki Road is not just a name.
To me, it symbolizes the healing journey — the road of life itself, where we are constantly in motion and always learning to trust again.

A personal path, with Reiki traveling alongside — both literally and figuratively.
It reflects the mobile way I now work, and the inner journey I continue to walk — with Reiki as my compass, companion, and calling.

It is this very journey, this light, that I lovingly pass on to anyone who feels called to receive it.

The words Inner Peace, Outer Freedom lie at the heart of this path.
They remind me of what truly matters: that real freedom can only grow from a deep sense of peace within.
When we feel at home in ourselves, we can live more freely — and in deeper connection with the world around us.

These words are also a subtle wink to my last names — Ineke and Out — a personal current running through everything I do:
from within to without, in balance, in freedom.
