Article 1. Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to all services of The Reiki Road, including Reiki treatments, workshops, and trainings. By booking an appointment or participating in a service, you agree to these terms.

Article 2. Reiki and Professional Ethics

Reiki is a complementary, energy-based method that supports relaxation, self-healing, and balance. It is not a substitute for conventional medical care.

The Reiki Road is affiliated with the Reiki Healing Association (RHA) and adheres to its Code of Ethics.

The client always remains responsible for their own health and decisions related to medical treatment.

Article 3. Appointments and Cancellation

Appointments can be made via email, phone, in person, or through the website.

Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the appointment. For cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows, the full fee will be charged.

In case of illness or force majeure on the part of the practitioner, a new appointment will be scheduled at no additional cost.
 

Article 4 Own Responsibility

The Reiki Road’s treatments, workshops and trainings are complementary in nature and aimed at promoting relaxation and energetic balance.

While they are delivered with the highest level of care and professionalism, no guarantee of results is provided. Clients and participants engage at their own responsibility and risk.

Treatments are not a substitute for medical or psychological care. In case of doubt, it is recommended to consult a licensed medical or mental health professional.

Article 5. Payment

Payment is made via payment request prior to the treatment, in cash, or as otherwise agreed.

Current rates are communicated in advance and are visible on the website or via email.

Participation in workshops or trainings is only final after confirmation and payment.

Article 6. Workshops and Trainings

Cancellation of participation is free up to 14 days before the start. For later cancellation, (partial) refunds may be refused.

In case of insufficient registrations, The Reiki Road reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the activity. Paid amounts will be refunded in full.

Article 7. Confidentiality and Privacy

All personal information and treatment data are treated confidentially.

Personal data, notes, and contact details are processed and stored in accordance with applicable privacy laws (GDPR).

A full privacy policy is available on the website and upon request by email.

You always have the right to access, correct, or delete your data.

Article 8. Data Retention

Client data is retained for a maximum of 7 years after the last contact, unless deleted earlier at the client's request (if legally permitted).

Billing information is kept for 7 years in accordance with tax regulations.

Article 9. Liability

The Reiki Road is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from treatments, workshops, or trainings.

Reiki is a complementary method; the client remains responsible for their own medical care.

Participation is entirely at your own risk.

Article 10. Complaints Procedure

In case of dissatisfaction or complaints, clients are requested to first contact The Reiki Road to seek a solution together.

If necessary, clients can refer to the complaints procedure of the Reiki Healing Association (RHA).

Article 11. Final Provision

The Reiki Road reserves the right to amend these terms. The most recent version is available on the website or upon request.
